I grew up in the village of Göreme and have been walking for many years. I was one of the first people of my village to have a dog, Haşmet, and with him I discovered all the valleys. Until recently, recreational walking or hiking was unthinkable for my fellow villagers, most of whom still prefer to take the car for even a little distance. That's why nobody, even the other guides, know the valleys as well as me.

I have a passion for nature and therefore I love my work with all my heart. I will never be tired of walking, whether in summer or in winter, whether day or night.

My present dog, Saki, loves walking too, and is usually by my side.
